Are you hungry for business?

Let’s go back in time. Is this what we would have been like?

We have all met the hunter in BNI – Sells to the room

How is BNI working for you? Great-Good-OK-Fair-could be better-Terrible

Whatever you think it is. The reason will always be the same. It is as good as you want it to be.

If BNI is not working for you - the reason is YOU

BNI is all about farming. Farming relationships – letting people get to know you. Having a One2One

They say that you will always get your best referral after you have been in BNI for 12 months

You need to build your own credibility – Be at the meetings, engage, participate, attend training, play BNI (wear the badge, carry the wallet, use the signs) and have fun with it.

You need to sow a few seeds – Pass referrals, give testimonials and bring visitors

If you do these things you will start to reap a crop of Referral £’s

REMEMBER – You reap what you sow

If there is no fruit on your tree do something about it!

Parable of Fig tree

A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none. Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground? And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it: And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down.

Dig it about – Get a bit of air in/action

Dung it – Training/read a book/ask for help etc

Ditch it – Give up - BNI is not for you

Look up Romans 7:7, Phil 3:6

Good sense – 1 Cor 12:31

Bad sense – 1 Tim 6:10

If you plant a seed called covet, what does it grow like? What is the fruit that is produced? James 1:14-15

How do you know that someone has coveted?

Instructions to live by – Luke 12:22-23, 31

We will be rewarded – Luke 12:32-34, Mat 25:14-30 Well Done

What is required in the tenth commandment?

The tenth commandment requireth full contentment with our own condition,(1) with a right and charitable frame of spirit toward our neighbor, and all that is his.(2)

1.Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have.
(Hebrews 13:5a, KJV).
2.Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep. (Romans 12:15, KJV).
Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth. (1Corinthians 13:4-6, KJV).

What is forbidden in the tenth commandment?

A:The tenth commandment forbiddeth all discontentment with our own estate,(1) envying or grieving at the good of our neighbor,(2) and all inordinate motions and affections to any thing that is his.(3)

(1) Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer.1Corinthians 10:10
(2)Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another. Galatians 5:26
(3) Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry. Colossians 3:5
