What is worldliness and why is it so serious?
Worldliness is essentially love of the world as it manifests itself in the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life. It is so serious because it is in complete opposition to the love of God.
Worldliness needs to be seen against the background of the Christian’s position in the world.
